Weather Advisory
Winter is upon us!
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather
advisory for freezing drizzle which is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening.
Freezing drizzle or sleet is expected to change over to drizzle and
temperatures rise above freezing. Please
watch for slippery road conditions.
John Knox Village Operations Department has already pre-treated
streets and will be monitoring streets and sidewalks and treating as needed.
Residents will notice there are not salt bins in various lobby locations
throughout the Village. The operations department will work to distribute the
salt properly so that it will be most effective. Please call Public Safety at
347-2150 if you see areas that need to be treated.
Snow and winter weather is expected on Saturday as well. Please
watch JKtV and E-Blast for further announcements and notices.
Auxiliary Thrift Shop Closing
The Thrift Shop will close at 3:30 p.m. TODAY, Friday,
December 16 and will be closed Saturday, Dec. 17.
