New Village resident Marvin Martin has already begun putting his wonderful woodworking talents to work! Just in time for Christmas, he recently completed making 10 rocking horses at the Hobby Hut. The rocking horses, along with hundreds of toy cars, trains and more, are being donated to Lee’s Summit Social Services. Marvin said he has enjoyed being able to continue doing one of his favorite hobbies, woodworking, and to give back to the community. He has also enjoyed the camaraderie of the other residents that work at the Hobby Hut.
