Operation Christmas Child Thank You!
Sending a big Thank you!! The Seniors on Mission
groups thanks everyone who participated in Operation Christmas Child. This
year, Village residents and associates donated more than 130 boxes! The boxes
were brought to the First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit this week. Operation
Christmas Child helps millions of children in more than 100 countries around
the world.
A special gift was included in each of the boxes this year. The residents that work at the Hobby Hut built small cars, trucks and trains, with each box getting one of the toys.
