Food Group Meeting

The Food Group is a group that is open to all residents where input can be given on the Courtyard Café. The group will meet at 1:30 p.m. the First Thursday of each month at the Courtyard Café. Holiday Hours for Thanksgiving

Holiday Hours at the Village for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24

• The Administrative Center will be closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25.

• The Fitness Center will be closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25.

• Trash pick-up in the apartment buildings will be on Monday, Nov. 21 and Wednesday, Nov. 23. Laundry pick-up normally scheduled for Thursday’s will be on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

• The Housekeeping and Maintenance departments will be closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. Please call Public Safety if there is an emergency.

• Dial-A-Ride will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 24. There will be no medical or grocery bus on Nov. 24. Normal hours the rest of the week.

• Lakeside Grille will be closed Nov. 24. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 25.

• Places Restaurant will be open Nov. 24, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a lunch buffet. There will be normal operating hours on Nov. 25-26.

• Courtyard Café will be open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 24. Normal hours the rest of the week.

• The Thrift Shop will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25.
• Village Salon: Nov. 23 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Nov. 24-25-26: Closed         
• Courtyard Salon: Nov. 23 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Nov. 24-25 – Closed; Nov. 26: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
•  Country Club Salon: Nov. 23 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 24-25-26: Closed.

-         -     A variety of hors d’oeuvres will be served along with a cash bar, photo booth and party favors.

-         -  East Coast countdown and champagne toast. Dial-A-Ride will be running after the party.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available at the Courtyard Commons concierge desk and in all Resident Life offices starting TODAY, Monday, Nov. 21. 

Table reservations: An entire table of eight can be reserved at the Resident Life office across from the Chapel and Melissa McKay’s office in A Building. Full payment for the entire table is required at time of reservation. Ticket sales end Friday, Dec. 16.

Activity Coordinator Office Relocated

Activity Coordinator Office Relocated

With the completion of the new Courtyard Commons and The Coffee Shoppe soon to open, Melissa McKay, activity coordinator, has moved her office from the Resident Life office near the Chapel to an office in A Building. The office is located just off where The Coffee Shoppe will be.

She is available to help with any activity needs including purchasing tickets, signing up for events and more. She can be reached at 347-2328 or mmckay@jkv.org
